Been putting this off for a while but, finally, leaving a 5 star review because it is well deserved. Wes is hands down the best. With all the other options to choose from, I couldn't imagine hiring anyone else. Although our day was busy and, at parts, stressful, Wes made the photography part a breeze. He is professional, easy to work with, and, truly a treat. I've already recommended him to anybody I know that's tying the knot. Hopefully, my review gets seen by potential clients.

Absolutely loved working with Wes. We discussed everything before the big day via email and/or phone. I created a shot list and he made sure to get everything I wanted and then some. I think he can capture what you want as long as you discuss it. Definitely worth hiring for your big day :)

Wes is amazing!! He's very professional yet has a personal touch! We absolutely love our vide. He seamlessly maneuvered around our wants and needs and gave us so many great ideas of his own. We would hire him 10X over. Also, his prices are beyond fair, he truly is the best bang for your buck.

From booking his service to the final product, Wes has been amazing! He worked with me to select the right package for my budget and the film we got back was PERFECT. He got all the right shots with multiple angles and great quality sound. He arrived early to set up and even stayed a bit later than we originally had him scheduled, as our ceremony had to be delayed due to rain. He was quick to respond to my many emails when I had questions and was one of the only vendors to reconfirm the date and details before the wedding, which I found very professional. He'll make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and is all around a very nice person, which is all you want on your big day. You can tell he has passion for what he does. I really can't say enough great things about We. I didn't initially budget for a videographer, but I have no regrets spending the extra money so we could have the ceremony and speeches professionally filmed. And again the footage turned out so great. I'm so glad I'll have this forever. I would recommend him to my friends and family. If you're on the fence go for it. So worth it!!

My daughter and I spent a lot of time researching vendors for her wedding, which paid off. After comparing videographers and productions on the web (i.e. quality of work, video and music editing, and the pricing) and then talking to videographers, we selected Wes Shepard, the owner of 'New Road Productions.' On the day of the wedding, Wes was on time and already shooting video footage of the grounds when we arrived. He also had set up his microphones and several types of cameras and lights for the ceremony area and reception site so he could get multiple angles to capture the best footage indoors and outdoors, in different lighting. Wes worked solid and in tandem with the photographer we hired from 3:00pm until 11:00pm. He videoed our bridal part, the bride and groom's 'first look,' their garden wedding ceremony & cocktail hour on the lawn, the indoor dinner & reception, and the sparkler exit. He was very polite and professional while communicating with all ages of the bridal party and guests. Within a week after the wedding, we were amazed to already receive the seven-hour raw video footage from our daughter and son-in-law's wedding. A few weeks beyond, we received our first draft of the Highlight Video. We laughed and cried at how sweet everything was edited. Wes truly captured the emotions of our special day, both in the raw footage and the five-minute highlight video edited to music, and we'll all treasure our daughter's wedding day even more in time because the videos will keep our memories alive. The bottom line is this: DO NOT let people convince you that you don't need a videographer for your wedding. The wedding day goes by too fast. You'll try to "live in the moment" with your loved ones, which means you can't see everything and be everywhere. When it's over, you'll realize how amazing the day was and want to relive it again - but can't if there isn't a video! This is why you need to hire Wes Shepard to record the most special day of your life. You won't ever regret it.

You will not regret working with Wes at New Road. His level of professionalism is wonderful and the quality of work he produces is incredible. We worked with Wes for both our photography and videography services. While he obviously couldn't do both, we had him take our photos and entrusted him to hire a top notch additional photographer and a videographer to capture our day. He also did our engagement photos. Wes is very down to earth and relaxed, making photos a fun experience for us. We admire his photojournalistic approach to photography and felt that the results from our own special day resembled snapshots of happiness versus the staged and posed photos you may find with other photographers. Beyond Wes being a man of great talent, he is also a man of great integrity and takes great pride in his work. He was so patient with us through every edit we had for our video and worked with us to ensure we had exactly what we hoped in our wedding highlight reel. All in all, we are so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Wes and to have the beautiful photos and videos he and his team captured to remember forever this most amazing day. Also, a final push for any brides hesitant on spending money on a great videographer - you will NOT regret it, but you will regret not having your vows and other special moments captured to relive again after your wedding day flies by in the blink of an eye.
